1. Definitions

• LLMConnect: iOS and iPadOS application that centralizes third-party AI services, allows chatting with different models, creating custom bots, attaching files with OCR, and generating images. It can operate with cloud models and local models on compatible devices.
• User: Person who accesses the application.
• AI Providers: External services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, Groq, Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek, and others, as well as image generation services like Replicate. The cited brands belong to their owners.
• Content: Messages, prompts, files, and results that the User sends or receives using the app.
• Local models: Models installed and executed on the device when compatible, for example on iOS 18 or higher.

2. Scope of Agreement and Relationship with Apple

2.1. This document is a custom EULA applicable to LLMConnect. If a proprietary EULA is not published in App Store Connect, Apple's standard EULA applies. If you publish this EULA, it will govern over Apple's standard in non-conflicting matters.

2.2. Purchase, management, and cancellation of subscriptions are done through Apple. LLMConnect does not manage payments or cancellations outside the Apple ecosystem. To cancel, you must do so in your Apple account settings.

3. License of Use

3.1. The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to use LLMConnect on Apple devices they own, in accordance with these terms.

3.2. Prohibited: reverse engineering, decompilation, bypassing technical measures, rental, sublicensing, resale of access, and use to create competing services.

4. Registration, Accounts, and Compatibility

4.1. LLMConnect does not require creating an account with the service owner. Access is associated with the Apple ID and the API keys the User chooses to load.

4.2. Minimum requirements: iOS 17 or later. Local models are only available on devices compatible with iOS 18 or higher.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

5.1. LLMConnect offers a free mode with basic features and paid modes with expanded features, with a free trial option. Prices and plans are displayed in the App Store.

5.2. Subscriptions automatically renew unless previously canceled by the User through their Apple account. Refunds are not processed outside Apple's policies.

6. API Keys and Connection with Providers

6.1. The User is responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid API keys for each AI Provider and complying with the applicable terms for those services.

6.2. By using a Provider, the User accepts their terms, usage policies, and limits, including those of OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, and Replicate for images.

6.3. LLMConnect is only a client interface. Requests are sent to the Provider chosen by the User and responses are returned to the device. LLMConnect does not control or guarantee the output content of the models.

7. Privacy and Security

7.1. Where data is stored. Chat histories and bots are stored locally on the User's device and optionally synchronized with their private iCloud via CloudKit. The developer does not access the User's private database content by default.

7.2. API Keys. Keys are stored encrypted in the iOS Keychain of the device.

7.3. Temporary chats and lock. The User can start temporary chats that are not saved upon closing, activate biometric lock, and blur in multitasking to avoid accidental views.

7.4. Analytics. LLMConnect may collect minimal anonymous telemetry to improve stability and feature usage, without including chat content. The User can disable these analytics if a setting exists for it.

7.5. Transfers to Providers. When the User uses a cloud Provider or the image function, the necessary conversation content and attachments are transmitted encrypted to the Provider for processing according to that Provider's policies.

8. Attachments, OCR, and Images

8.1. The User can attach images, PDFs, or text. LLMConnect performs OCR to extract text and sends it with the prompt to the selected model.

8.2. Image generation is offered through external services like Replicate. The User is responsible for verifying that the use of generated images does not infringe third-party rights and for complying with the licenses and restrictions of the model used.

9. Minimum Age

9.1. LLMConnect is not directed to minors under 13. If you are in the United States, COPPA law requires verifiable parental consent for the collection of data from minors under 13. LLMConnect does not collect chat content on proprietary servers and does not intend to target minors.

9.2. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you must be at least 16 years old, unless your country's legislation establishes a lower threshold no less than 13 and parental consent exists when applicable.

10. Acceptable Use

10.1. It is prohibited to use LLMConnect and Providers for illegal purposes or that violate usage policies, for example: illegal content, harm, child exploitation, malware, reverse engineering of models, massive extraction contrary to terms, or intellectual property violation.

10.2. Comply with sanctions and exports. You may not use LLMConnect if you are a sanctioned subject or for purposes prohibited by sanctions or other applicable laws. The User is responsible for complying with export controls, including EAR rules and OFAC sanctions when applicable.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1. LLMConnect and its elements are property of the owner.

11.2. The OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, Replicate, and other brands belong to their owners. LLMConnect is not an official affiliate of those Providers.

11.3. Content generated by models may be subject to third-party rights. The User assumes responsibility for their use.

12. Moderation and DMCA

12.1. If we host material subject to rights in resources under our control, we will apply a notice and takedown process in accordance with the U.S. DMCA and applicable law, and designate a DMCA agent. Instructions and formal requirements are described in 17 U.S.C. §512 and U.S. Copyright Office guidelines.

12.2. LLMConnect does not host chat content on proprietary servers and acts as a local client, so most Content resides on the device or is transmitted to Providers chosen by the User.

13. Limitations and Disclaimers

13.1. AI Content. Models can err, omit, or generate unreliable content. Use judgment and verify critical information.

13.2. Compatibility and availability. Provider services may fail, suffer limits, policy changes, or interruptions. LLMConnect does not guarantee continuous availability or specific results.

13.3. Beta. Beta features may change, be withdrawn, or present errors. They are offered as is.

14. Liability

14.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLMConnect, its owner, and collaborators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, loss of profits, data or reputation, nor for failures or interruptions derived from third-party Providers or app use.

14.2. Total cumulative liability for any claim is limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the use of LLMConnect during the 6 months prior to the event that gave rise to the claim, except for fraud or gross negligence required by law.

15. Indemnity

The User will hold LLMConnect harmless from third-party claims arising from their use of the app, their Content, or violations of these Terms or Provider policies.

16. Modifications

We may modify these Terms. We will notify within the app or through the App Store. Continued use after the effective date implies acceptance.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach or security risk. The User can stop using the app and cancel their subscriptions from their Apple account.

18. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by applicable laws, with waiver of conflicts of laws to the extent permitted.
